Christians: A Muslim's Ransom From Hell? 1-Minute Case
Where will Allah place the sins of Muslims on Judgement Day?
None of us can perfectly meet God’s standards through our works and unless someone else can take on our sins, God in executing justice, will bring us under punishment for our sin.
Muhammad in Sahih Bukhari 4:16, claimed “Ask me anything from my wealth, but I cannot save you from Allah's Punishment." In the Qur’an each person is accountable for their own sins and “no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another (Surah 6:164).”
If that is the case who can save Muslims from Allah’s punishment?
The answer that seems to be suggested in various Hadiths is one you might not expect- Christians.
Sahih Muslim Book 49
In Hadith 7011, on the Day of Resurrection, Allah will “will give every Muslim a Jew or a Christian, and He will say: "This is your ransom from the Fire.’" Hadith 7012 reads: "No Muslim man dies but Allah causes a Jew or a Christian to enter the Fire in his stead."
Unload Muslim sins on Christians?
110 Ahadith Qudsi no 8 reads,” Yet another sort will come bearing on their backs heaps of sins like great mountains… (Allah) will say: Unload the sins from them and put the same over the Jews and Christians; then let the humble slaves get into Paradise by virtue of My Mercy.”
Jesus did not sin
In both Islam and Christianity, Jesus is sinless. In Christianity you don’t need a fallen human to take on your sin. More impurity does not cleanse impurity. God in His perfection through Jesus takes the place of your sin, offering both a just and merciful solution.
Who will save you?
Will you hope God chooses to allocate your sins to a sinful Christian on judgement day or will you look back to the finished work of Jesus on the cross to save you? Jesus' death by crucifixion is considered even by atheist and agnostic historians such as Ehrman and Ludemann to be one of the best attested facts in history. Matthew 20:28: Even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.
